Visit from seniors from the
Danube countries
One whole week, 50 seniors communicated not on an international, but also on an inter-generational level. In language problem, they got the support from interpreters, who thanks to their family backgrounds speak several South European languages. Otherwiese the communication took part in other ways, even in a pantomime. During the meeting, the participants developed ideas and concrete concepts, for the further development of seniors' education in their countries or how the older ones could pass their knowledge onto the younger ones.
The closing event took place with the participation pf the patron and the State Social Minister Monika Stolz, the Lord Mayor Ivo Gönner and all participants. But actuylly, it was a starting meeting. The project is planned for the future and should bring large resonance in the Danube host countries such as Slovakia, Austria and Rumania.
